Detailed Project Scope

Advanve Design Consultants bid and won project #612-401 – Construct Outpatient Mental Health Services Minor at the Mather Medical Center. This project will construct a new 18,000 SF Building for homeless programs, PRRC and additionaly mental health clinic functions. It will also construct 116 parking spaces, landscaping, sidewalks, and appurtenances. The project is located at the VA Mather campus, on 1535 Hospital Way, Mather California. The Design and Construction of this building will meet the VA sustainable design and energy reduction requirements as outlined in the SDER manual dated April 2013, in addition to meeting the LEED requirements for Silver Certification. Under this proposal, ADC is responsible for producing a complete set of drawings, design narratives/analysis, calculations, sample boards, and specifications in accordance with professional standard practices and VA criteria. ADC will provide any soil study or geotech report needed to facilitate the drawings. Throughout the material selection process, ADC ensured that all material specifications were made with great consideration for VA’s infection control policy. ADC provided all required documentation and paid all fees for the SMUD Design ADC provided a California certfieid QSD who was responsible for developing, submitting, and paying all associated fees for SWPP and permit. ADC provided an interior design to work with the VA end users to establish a furniture plan, also providing furniture drawing and an excel sheet of itms by model and quantity. ADC successfully designed a project that adhered to the construction budget and the business case. ADC provided a checklist of all submittals, certifications, tests and inspections required during construction inspections and plans to witness the final fire protection equipement testing.
