Detailed Scope of Work

Advance Design Consultants and ADC Construction Management, Inc. (ADC-CM) teamed up for to conduct a Design-Build contract for Arris’ Ruckus Wireless facility. This project entailed Advance Design Consultants doing a full design for Corporate Tenant Improvements and Data Center Buildout at 390 West Java Drive in Sunnyvale, CA. ADC was contracted to provide Architectural, Mechanical, and Electrical design services. Our sister company, ADC Construction Management were contracted to provide construction management services for the project.

Full assessments were completed of existing electrical loads and new electrical panels/receptacles were provided in support of the new cubicles and offices. The Fire sprinkler system was updated in support of wall/room modifications, new EBC and space modernization were completed, as well as assessment of the existing lighting and reflective ceiling plan with relocation services as necessary to support new layout. The project also including LV cabling plan, cable trays and main runs back to IDF room. Exit Analysis of the build Code Evaluation were prepared and permitting was coordinated with the City.

Additionally, the scope include designing and building as new approximately 4,000 square foot Rack Lab and approximately 800 square foot Hardware lab. The rack lab required building new walls and infrastructure within the existing shipping/warehouse area. Approximately one hundred and sixteen (116) racks will be relocated from the Brocade-San Jose facility once the lab is completed. The Hardware lab is to be built next to the rack lab and will include the relocation of network racks, work benches and Environmental Chambers.
