Detailed Scope of Work
Advance Design Consultants designed a new data center, located on the third of Brocade’s existing facility. The mechanical system design required the creation of hot/cold aisle air distribution, with allocation of additional air conditioning equipment (CRAQ units) fed from their existing chilled water system. As part of the mechanical scope, ADC was requested to evaluate the condition and capacity of their existing chilled water system and validate the available capacity for the addition.
The electrical system was evaluated, such that the new work required did not impact the existing data centers throughout the facility. This included the addition of new 225kVA UPS systems to support the data lab electrical buss rail distribution, along with the new air distribution equipment.
