Lorenzo Rios, P.E.

CEO / President / Principal-in-Charge

Mr. Rios has lead Advance Design  Consultants for over 34 years in an effort to to realize a dream of creating an architectural and engineering firm that would do it better, with more imagination, drive and passion then any other team. He founded Advance Design Consultants in 1984, setting out to develop a dynamic, diverse, multidisciplinary and multi-experienced team of technical experts and engineers that could interact directly with clients to gain an in-depth understanding of needs from the beginning, and work with clients throughout the project process to create innovative and inspiring designs that would change the way buildings function.

Mr. Rios is the Principal in Charge for federal and local projects. Lorenzo holds a Master’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering, a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering, and has over 35 years of multi-disciplinary engineering experience. As the CEO and owner of ADC, Inc. Mr. Rios has extensive experience overseeing, managing, and participating in every part of the design process. His experience includes working extensively with HVAC systems, process piping, fire protection, plumbing, power distribution, motor control centers, boiler installation and replacement, tool installations, and programmable logic control. Mr. Rios is personally involved in mentoring the ADC team so they can effect changes in the way we think about designing for the built environment, the operational and construction cost savings, building efficiencies and create designs where overall sustainability are inherent.
