Project Scope
ADC provided plans, specifications, and cost estimates for replacing a 120-ton water-cooled absorption chiller with a new air cooled packaged chiller.
Challenges
Modifications to the piping layout and design of controls were needed to interconnect the new chiller with the chilled water plant
Solution
ADC prepared demolition drawings to remove the exiting chiller, cooling tower and associated piping system. Investigation of the existing electrical capacity was conducted and improved to meet the new installation requirements. ADC modified the existing transformer support system to install the new transformer and main breaker.
